Brian Gregg Challenge?

First off,, CALM DOWN pal
I was not disrespecting Gary, i have known him for a long time and as well a lot of evansville guys. I know Gary beat nick playing bank a month or two ago and i know Gary plays all the champions (he can afford to) and yes i know his feet are hurting him. BUT he IS the underdog by a little in all three disciplines here. I do not care what he has accomplished, as i respect him for that, but i am talking about NOW I DONT underestimate Garys ability i simply say he is the dog by a little

I will just use one game as an example. If Gary's healthy, no way is he the underdog playing one pocket.

And it's more than just his feet are hurting. It's a serious medical condition.........

There has been some talk around Indy about Brian wanting to play an all around (banks, one pocket, nine ball) From what a group of us can tell by the flyers being posted around, this is open to Indiana people.

Someone who goes into airport, let Brian know he should answer his phone as he can get played with this game.

When you say banks, are talking about 9 ball banks or 15 ball banks?? Big difference. Checkers versus chess.

Also, is this challenge to be played on Brian's home table at Airport Billiards or is this negotiable??

Thanks.........................

One thing I can say, I have always respected Gary Gentry as a person and a pool player. His ability is a never ending thing. Since I work so much, It seems that I always look for the tough games. That's an easier way to get prepared for the derby. I hope Gary's health get's better, Merry Christmas to all.

Gary and I practiced for a couple hours today. The respect for you is mutual. There is no doubt both of you are two of the best all around players in the state. I hope Gary gets in a situation where the two of you match up in something similar to this challenge. Right now he just doesn't have the stamina.

Personally, I hope it happens one day...............it definitely would be worth watching.

spellcheck is your friend......

I spoke with Brian at Lags this weekend about this matchup. He hasn't had anyone call to play as of this weekend. In my earlier post, I had forgotten about Mark Jarvis still being in Indiana. The funny thing is, I just saw him at a tournament in Kokomo last week. And yes, he still hits the balls pretty sporty.

I think I still like Brian to win 2 outta 3 sets playing anyone residing in Indiana. Just my opinion.
And the bank game is, 15 ball bank, breaking wide open, race to 8 games I believe for the set. It does make a difference, even without the safe breaking.
