bridge length and parallax, help me explain

some quick paint drawing... to help me understand.

for straight in shots... i dont understand yet how you place your cue and eye for the cut shots... ill have to make a drawing to understand. maybe you can make one?

anyway, this shows that there is a difference on the aligment cue - eye, depending on what aiming u use. ghostball (center) or fractional (edges)..

I used to use the first method when playing recreational snooker,
im using the second one now as a serieus poolplayer, i supose you use the 3th OR 4th one? do you change the cue placement under your eye depending on what side of the edge you are aligning. the shaft can't be in the same place in the 3th or 4th image, correct? maybe this is one of the reasons, you miss soms shots? (just guessing..)

PS: red circle = object ball, black circels close to it, is how you view the cb.

Dominance

If I use my left hand to circle something my left eye is dominant

If I use my right hand to circle something my right eye is dominant

Using both not sure, close = left, far - right?? Seems strange

i dont know if this means you are ambi occular..
Do you keep your hand in both cases in the middle in front of you at exact the same place?
if you the circle you make with left hand is more to the left, you will automatically favor the left eye.
(hence why i thought that looking to the right and then slowly move to something in front of you would force the right dominance..,
but its not working 100% flawless for ambi's, as on the way to the center, the dominance can still change.)

I am ambi occular, and when i circle something with any hand, my left eye sees the right edge, and the right eye sees the left edge. i can see trough the gap the thing behind it with both eye at same time, making the gap bigger then if i would look with 1 eye. as soon as i close one eye, the gap is alot smaller and i can only see a part of it

aka

if i close left eye (that sees the right edge of the circle), the gap is smaller (right side goes away), but the left side stays the same , and visa -versa...

one word: DAMN my eyes do strange things!! im a alien :sorry:
