some quick paint drawing... to help me understand.
for straight in shots... i dont understand yet how you place your cue and eye for the cut shots... ill have to make a drawing to understand. maybe you can make one?
anyway, this shows that there is a difference on the aligment cue - eye, depending on what aiming u use. ghostball (center) or fractional (edges)..
I used to use the first method when playing recreational snooker,
im using the second one now as a serieus poolplayer, i supose you use the 3th OR 4th one? do you change the cue placement under your eye depending on what side of the edge you are aligning. the shaft can't be in the same place in the 3th or 4th image, correct? maybe this is one of the reasons, you miss soms shots? (just guessing..)
PS: red circle = object ball, black circels close to it, is how you view the cb.
