When watching the recent European 3C event, I was surprised to see some of the top players using 12" or longer bridge lengths. Seems to me years ago that the experts were using shorter bridges-- which I assumed was to facilitate a more accurate cue tip placement. Is the modern trend towards longer bridge lengths?
