THIS MAY SOUND LIKE A STUPID ANSWER BUT...... YOU POLISH IT.

sand and buff any repair cue can help but you need a lathe

I am not too far from you. Bring it down and I should be able to do it while you wait. Granted it is not real bad. Deep scratches will not polish out, they have to be cut out. With out seeing it I can't be positive.
