ebay cue i got shows up in L-shaped box, not good!!
ups driver advised me not to open.
now have to wait & see what happens after UPS inspects.

if it's only broken at end of shaft, i'll live with it. planned to get new shaft anyway. even worse, seller used a PROFESSIONAL packaging service. my 9 yr. old grandaughter could have packed better.

seller's/packer's fault. they didn't take precautions. one must always assume the shipper will mishandle.(btw,,,ups sucks anyway). can you show us the pic of the box? i'm really curious. wouldn't you have to photo it anyway as proof.

E-bay Seller SAID, "I WILL REFUND ANY TRANSACTION IF BUYER IS NOT HAPPY! MUST CONTACT ME WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIVING PRODUCT, THE BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SHIPPING CHARGES BOTH WAYS AND ANY AUCTION FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE TRANSACTION. ITEMS MUST BE IN EXACT SAME CONDITION AND SAME PACKING!"

Hopefully they were insured, and hopefully UPS Pay the Claim. Funny thing is UPS, USPS, and Fed-X handle how many item daily? Think overall they "F" Up a very little in proportion to the item handled.

to be honest, i was so pisssed off, i didn't think of pictures of box. seller just contacted me says that once the insurance claim is paid, the cue is destroyed. i vaguely remember him saying he had a few more titlists. trying to get one of those. this whole mess is going to take two to three weeks, supposedly, to resolve.
i always ship one piece cues in 60" piece of 2" pvc pipe. have not had any problems yet. maybe it's because they haven't tried hard enough to screw those up. i'm sure they'll keep trying. ha!ha!
oh, i did tell seller not to issue refund just yet. rather have the cue or a replacement.

That sucks sorry to hear about that. I just sold a stick on ebay a month ago, so I took the stick to the UPS (OOPS) Store and one of the people that works behind the counter knew me. I told her to make sure the stick is packaged well for shipment.

Well the buyer gets the package and emails me that he was not impressed with the packaging, and that there was no fill to keep the cue from bouncing around the box. The buyer said that no damage was done to the stick but thought that I ought to know.

This made me so sick when I got the email, I emailed him back an appology and printed the email to take to the UPS Store. I get there and it was the same girl, I give her the email to read and she says that it is not there responsibility to make sure it is packaged right. Of course this throw me into a bit of rage, but I keep my cool and was very polite. I will not ship with UPS again. I will pacckage all of my own stuff from now on, and make sure that it is insured.....
