After some drastic fine-tuning, here is the final iteration of the tournament. Decided to keep it simple and accessible to everyone.

Standard Nine-Ball.
Race to 7
Single Elimination
Handicapped
100% Payout (no green's fees)

Only $5 to enter. Yep, that's right. For just about the cost of one-hour of table time, you can play in a full tournament. It's a tournament for the modern economy. ;) See you there.

A date and time would be helpful.
 
Had a great tournament! It ran smooth and was over by 9:00 pm. Turnout is still going up. Thanks to everyone for coming out and I'll see you Sunday. Don't forget, if you're not in the mood for pool, we also have poker at 7:00 pm. If we get just 8 players, you can win a $100 Walmart gift card!
 
I am no longer running these. Brown's may still be keeping them up, but you'll have to call them for any info on that. Nothing wrong with the tournament, it's just that the management and I could not see eye to eye regarding how long it takes for a local tournament to grow. Their expectations were somewhat unrealistic, so I feel my time would be better spent developing other events independently.

i'm sorry, this is a little vaugue, are you hosting this every saturday?
and what have your turnout been like?
