If someone has a ebony front shaft with the brass pin in it they used 1910 to 1930 era I'd be very interested. It doesn't even need to be straight. Hoping to harvest the pin for a 2nd shaft and use antique ebony to extend original shaft

I have cash, great Conversion candidates and excellent condition Brunswick one piece house cues with nice original finish and logos.

I'm trying to get ideas om getting an original shaft on a Brunswick 360 a bit longer. It was cut below the ferrule a little. It's 13.7 mm under the tip that was glued directly to the end of it. Original ferrule and tenon must have broke off?? I need to makeup a couple inches there. Was told I could splice in ebony to extend it and tge seam woukd hide well with a dyed epoxy.*Maybe even go back beyond the original ebony splice to the maple.

Just seeing what's out there for me to utilize. Open to other ideas on repairing this.
Thanks

I worked on one from 1926. The joint screw was 1/4x14. He wanted it sprayed. I refused and did oil rubbed. I would think with caution on everything you have done based upon the value of this rare treasure.

If somebody has a early ebony front shaft with the same brass pin, I'm very interested in buying it.

I have cash, nice conversion cye candidates and premiu

Just square cut the ebony shaft and connect with a long tenon?

+1. I'd suggest as little work done as possible by not changing the original splice work. Simply trying to add the missing end for ascetics, or have a new complete shaft made & keep original; as is.

Congratz! Nice pick up btw.

I have never had the privilege of restoring a 360, but would love to try it. Is it for sale? If so PM me a price.

Restoration in motion.

Let me know what you have. I have cash and good trades like potential conversion cues and nice vintage 1 piece cues.

I'll see what I've got left. I do have a cue I made for a guy 25 years ago with an old shaft blank I had from the old Brunswick factory that was in Cincinnati and left about 100 years ago. It is one of the 4 point ebony fronted maple shafts. I also have a box of old, well used ebony/maple spliced shafts and maybe still have a couple with rosewood instead of ebony splices. I'll have to dig them out of the recesses of my shop over the holidays. I think I may have still have some of the old brass pins from the Brunswick factory also but I'll need you to give me some specs for the pins as they are loose in a bin with other old brass cue parts.
