Brunswick by Falcon?

My rule of thumb is sharp points on a Brunswick cue from the 80’s/90’s and it identifies the cue as made by Falcon. The only thing that is slightly throwing me off is the fact that the points seem to be shorter 70s style.

What's the Pin?
5/16x18. Now that I think about it, Falcon used 5/16x14. One of my favorite shafts is an old Falcon shaft.

my gut tells me it is a full splice with a buttsleeve. When I take the buttcap off the sleeve, which is ebony, it is of the same wood as the points.

I played with it Friday and it is a great playing cue. It plays like a Falcon, which I always thought they played in between a Joss and a Schon.
