Brunswick case and cue question

A good friend of mine just found this in her Dad's storage that she was going thru. This is the cue and case he used when he was alive, he passed suddenly last year. I am looking for an ID on the cue, I know it's imported, mainly is this possibly a Brunswick cue? She just wants to know for personal/sentimental knowledge. All it says in the window is 'Professional' I like the case, I haven't seen one like it before. Thanks for any help.

Taiwan splice/veneers. Never seen the sleeve on a Brunswick, not a catalog model, this is probably a Kmart cue.

I figured it to be an import, just wanted to make sure before stripping it and refinishing it. I'm amazed at how straight it spins between centers. My friend thinks her father bought it around the 70's.
