Looking for opinions on the playability of the Centennial compared to the Gold Crown III.

Does the Centennial play as good (or better) than the Gold Crown III?

Also looking for opinions on the playability of antique tables (1900's - 1920's - Medalist, Regina, Hudson) compared to Gold Crown III.

Drawbacks on the maintenance/playability of antique tables.

Thanks for the thoughts!

Centennials and anniversary"s were basically early gold crowns with very
similar playing characteristics.

When you go into earlier tables you find some noticeable design changes
such as the t-rail. this is where the rails bolt into the side of the slate versus having full size slate with the rails bolting thru it. You will also
encounter slate openings that will be very generous. problems that can
be made better but not without some work.

Centennial and anniversary are great choices for a antique table. If you
go new i would definitely consider a diamond also. Good luck!
