Brunswick cushion problem

And that's why I'm asking what to use

It's more of an industrial glue, not an all purpose, general use glue. That's going to be the best stuff, but yes, you're going to find it in larger quantities than you'll need for one table.

You have to realize that you're asking questions on a forum and getting answers from some of the top guys in this industry, and in a way, questioning their expertise. You might not find follow-up answers to be quite as helpful. Sure, you can take that as unpleasant if you want, but how pleasant is it to try to be helpful and offer an answer based on years of experience and have that answer questioned by a DIYer doing something for the first time? Pat offered you a solution to your problem TWICE just to have his help undermined. How pleasant should his response be?

How did I undermine him. He said to do all the cushion, so I am, he told me where I could buy some , I found them cheaper and posted where, the next logical question would be glue. Just about no one can ask a question on here without getting attitude in response.

I was referring to him (and me) recommending replacing all of the cushions and then you saying you knew it wasn't right, but you were just going to do one. I'm glad you've since decided to do them all.

Then he provided a link to the rubber and you went somewhere else. Again, glad you found them cheaper, and you're doing the legwork to find your own answers, but I thought his way of asking for a link to your source was humorous...you took it as unpleasant and attitude.

Seems to be a matter of misreading the tone behind the type like happens so often in this world of non-verbal communication.

Good luck with the project. Keep us updated on how it turns out.

Is there a glue I can get at Lowes or a hardware store.

You best local hardware store glue is probably going to be Weldwood. Scotchweld is definitely better though. That's just from my experience, but I know there's a lot out there and hopefully some of the other guys will chime in as well.

The person at Lowes said loctite spray industrial, but wouldn't think to use spray, I did see Weldwood , but I didn't see anything saying rubber on anything.. thanks for the help guys
