Brunswick GC/Diamond Pockets

For all of the Gold Crown and Diamond pool table owners...what do your corner pockets measure between the two points; then, inside where the lip of the pocket drops off, and also where the interior points end? Please specify what model GC it is and whether you've had it shimmed.

Drivermaker,
I won't be home until tomorrow, I'll measure then. This day job continues to get in the way of my pool pursuits.

Drivermaker,

My Gold Crown III
4-1/8" Between the two points
3-13/16" Inside where the lip of the pocket drops off
3-1/2" Where the interior points end
Triple Shimmed and wouldn't change it for anything.

WOW!! WOW!! That's what's known as a double WOW!!

I would prefer the tightness accomplished by lengthening the cushions rather than simply adding shims. Makes for much better 1-Pocket play.

Me too, but this is not always possible. The shims make balls bounce funny when they hit a point, and after a while, they tend to become curved, creating all sorts of "bad luck". YMMV Mine are 4.5 with 2 shims and I'm adding one when I recover it next month.

Hey buddy !!!!!!!
