Brunswick Gold Crown 3 Replacement Cushion questions

I recently purchased a Gold Crown 3 9ft table. I doubt the cushions have ever been replaced. I can hear and feel dead spots when a ball hits certain spots. It also has champion cloth that is the opposite of simonis. It rolls fine but it is much shaggier than simonis and little puffs of cloth are always balling up all over the table. So I want to get it recovered and swap out the cushions. My real question is should I go with Superspeeds or Artemis? And if I do go with Artemis I think they are intercontinental no.66 I believe I have heard they require rail modification? If so what is involved with that? Is it worth going through all that trouble instead of just going with super speeds? I also want to tighten up the pockets to 4.5" corners and 5" sides. What is the correct way of doing that? Facings? And does anyone know of a good table mechanic in the NW Indiana region that can do this work for a reasonable price? I have tried looking up all this information but can't really find exactly the answers I am looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Artemis....and easy on the facings...extended rails.

The cost will be significant...but you're going to have the table for a long time...
...make yourself happy with it.

It was Gold Crown IIIs that made me lose my faith in Brunswick SuperSpeed.

Having a GC II that had the original Monarch cushions which I had replaced with Superspeed, and 5 years ago replaced with Artemis. My preference lies with Artemis.

The sub-rails had to be modified on my table for Artemis, I don't know about a GCIII it may be the same. Someone in the mechanic sub-forum would know for sure.
