There has been some "talk" of Brunswick not making the Brunswick Gold Crown Coin Op table anymore. I spoke with my connection there today!

It is a fact that it is no longer available for order on the website, but, that is because they simply can't take anymore orders!

They do not want to bury themselves or more importantly their customers and be endlessly back ordered.

I think this is smart and good for everyone!

Well that sounds cool. So where are all these tables going? It would be nice to see one in the real world. Only place i’ve ever heard of them are at Archer’s place in GA.

Seems like an oddball product for them, since BW is basically not in the commercial/pro industry anymore, and the coinop (“PAT”) barbox biz is essentially USA market only, and obviously totally dominated by Valley & Diamond… but sure would be great to see them back in the game again beyond just the high-end home table market.

Hopefully your hopeful premonitions pan out!

They are now owned by Escalade and they are a pool company. That transition is happening now and of course will take time. The Gold Crown is a great table. Whether they end up trying to get the GC Coin op into the small table tournament market means nothing to me. Them making some changes to the GC6 to compete with the current 3 Tournament tables: Predator, Rasson and Diamond, is what I would like to see.

Escalade Sports sells "some" pool tables as well as many other indoor/outdoor sports related products. I would not call them a "pool" company.

So now you are gonna start TROLLING my posts?? They own Cue & Case( the biggest wholesaler of billiard accessories), American Heritage and Brunswick, I think that makes them a pool company, IMO of course. Stop wasting my time and yours. If you have nothing to contribute, dont post!

Have way better things to do then troll your BS posts. Did someone die and leave you in charge? Seems you have something to say about anything and everything. NOW its your "opinion" that Escalade is a pool company.
So here is the Escalade Brands Link.
I invite anyone to view the "Escalade Brands" list and state, as good ol tft did, that Escalade is a "pool company".

They make it yet you can't buy it. What was the point of the thread?

I was pretty clear in the very first sentence. I also forgot: they are working on getting the process faster in order to take more orders! Taking peoples money and not being able to deliver seems like a bad plan, so they are avoiding that. Hope that clears it up for you.

I have nothing to prove. Been there, done that. You on the other hand, appear to still be trying.
You said Escalade was a pool company. I said they are not. The proof is in their brands.
Enough said.

The bar is set pretty low in the usa, they own some very big companies in the pool industry. In fact more than anyone else.
