Brunswick Gold Crown III Issues

Hello all, I have just stumbled across this forum & I already have a question for the talented mechanics. I just purchased an extremely neglected GC3. Why on earth would anyone purchase a brand new GC & put it in an unfinished basement that gets water???? Anyhow, as I was taking the table apart (slate bolts were all hand tight by the way) the bolts that secure the skirts to the rails gave me issues. I would say that almost half of them had pulled the anchors out with them. My question is how are the anchors secured? Can I glue them back in? If so what product I use to bond the metal to the wood? Thanks in advance.

You can use some JB weld 2 part epoxy glue to reinstall the inserts, but first make sure the bolt threads are all cleaned out and threaded good. One of the reasons they may have come out with the skirt bolts is that they might be just a little to long...ran out of thread when being tightened up and bound up in the threads of the insert, so check the length of the skirt bolts, get shorter ones if needed.
