Brand new to the forums, which I found through Google … I only know about billiards and cues what I have learned from this forum and a couple of email exchanges with cue renovators … I have an old 2-piece Brunswick Willie Hoppe Titlist cue from the early '40's according to a couple of cue makers I contacted through the boards here … They think it is from the period’41- ’45 and was converted from a 1-piece ... It is in excellent shape and is perfectly straight … There is no wobble whatsoever when rolled on the table …The joint is metal to metal …I’m not sure what the joint material is … I think it is something called “Ivoryite” … But I really don’t know ... It is 58” end to end … The tip is very narrow, about 0.69” … I bought this cue about 1970 at an estate sale in the California wine country north of San Francisco and have had it stored away ever since in the case it came in which is a well-traveled cardboard tube with some sort of fiber plug on the bottom and a screw on metal top... I forgot that I even had it until someone gave me a very nice pool table recently and I remembered the old cue … I’d like to keep it, but thanks to Obamacare, my wife’s health insurance got screwed up so have to sell some things …I’m posting pics and welcome comments from the forum ….
