Hi,
I am in thailand and in the process of looking for a table, I was put in contact with a shop via the owner of the pool hall I go to...anyways he told me that he has a used 85% condition king brown brunswick...I though he meant crown but he assured me that is was a King Brown 3 solid wood table that was made at least ten years ago, but i have failed to turn any info or pics on the net about either names...

Have any of you ever heard or seen this model?

King Brown is a Brunswick knockoff. But they make very good tables. Their knockoff off a Gold Crown 3 plays as good as any original Gold Crown that I have ever played on when it's properly set up.

Ahhhh....This might explain part of the conversation i had with him ( he has a thick accent..) where he was saying something to that effect but it did not make sense at the time....lol

Do you know if there is a brand name associated with this King brown table ?

King Brown is the brand name. I do not know models of any specific tables. I have seen them in Taiwan and China mostly.

King brown made in china, they have brown one and black one are GC3 knock off.
I think they have knock off metro as well.....

Look at John Barton's You Tube videos, the ones he made in China.
Look at the end of the pool table and you will see King Brown.

In 33 years of working on pool tables, I've heard so many claims of "just like a gold crown" or its a "gold crown knock off".....and to this day, they're all flat out liars. If you COPIED anything....wouldn't the COPIED pool table resemble the table it copied? Not ONE manufacture in the world has ever copied a Gold Crown and got it right yet....which is WHY I refuse to work on ANY pool tables that are suppose to be copied from a Brunswick Gold Crown, they're shit, junk tables.
