Does anyone know where I can get apron replacements for a Brunswick Medalist (or Gold Crown) 9 ft table? I know the laminate veneers could be redone, but I don't know how to do them. I thought it would be simpler to get new aprons (or complete table top (if not too expensive). Please let me know?
Thanks,

Hey Wayne... did you finally get tired of Jake's moving their tables around every other month and get your own table? I hope so, I didn't know how much better my game could get until I finally made that move. I gave up on Jake's the last time that I went in and saw how badly they had crowded the tables on the right side of the building... trying to be more bar and restaurant than a pool hall. It's been many months since I've been in there and it's a shame because I really used to enjoy the place and seeing all of the regular shooters.

Have you checked with Rob over at Everything Billiards on the aprons. I don't know if GC-IV aprons will fit on the Medalist but Atlantic S&B bought a bunch of GC's from a pool hall out of Raleigh just before they merged with Rob and they probably have some parts in Raleigh since they bought about 20 or more of these tables. The only catch is that many of these tables were "Black Beauty" GC's so the skirts would probably be black if they have any.

I still have a standing offer for you to come out and shoot on my GC-IV sometime. It's as level as any table in G'boro... and I just bought a set of Centennial TV Tours a few months ago (still have org. Centennials if the pink and brown bother you) and even a set of Super Pros (that yellowed a bit from sitting in the case too long). I know... who the hell am I? LOL You remember me... "Lucasi" as you used to call me... Viking cue enthusiast that usually shot on the GC at the back door. If you want to hook up sometime just let me know. I still have your card and telephone info. I'm pretty much retired these days so my schedule is a bit flexible most of the time.
