Hello mechanics of AZB,
I recently acquired a 9' Medalist for $295+Gas. I've set the frame and stuff up and leveled it out (following cobra's instructions carefully). I'm now getting ready to set the slate.
Before I do this I just want to ask a few questions and show you a couple photos.
Questions
1.) What would be the best way to clean the slate before I set it? It looks like the felt was glued to the bed of the table or something I'm not quite sure.

2.) How would I disassemble the counter in order to get it working properly? Right now its stuck and won't roll up or down.

3.) Would it be hard to restore the rail wood? It looks like theres a laminate on the top of the wood or something..

4.) The frame wood does not sit flush with each other is that going to be an issue? Theres maybe 1/4" or less where the long wood sits above the short wood.
5.) The wood slats that are used to hold the sides in, did not come with anything to place in the holes to make sure it holds tight so they are just sitting in their places loose.. what would you recommend putting in there? I was thinking I would use like a quater inch wooden dowl or something... maybe a nut and bolt?
Sorry I don't have pictures for the last 2 questions I know it would help!
