This Blood wood Brunswick model 26 1/2 -R- redoo was missing the wedge of mother of pearl in the butt sleeve and the veneers. Jerry Rauenzahn brought this "Junk Yard Dog" back from the grave to battle a few more sets. Jerry's restoration work is superb. This cue weighs in at 19.25 oz and is well balanced. I requested the butt be 30" and to slim down the fat butt so it would fit in my Instroke 3X7 case which Jerry -R- accommodated. It has a flat faced ivory joint and stainless steel radial pin. I use Predator shafts, but Jerry's white, straight grain shaft hits extremely well.

Notice how crisp the forearm points are on top near the joint and at the bottom near the wrap. How did they do this back then??

Also, Jerry -R- used some of his precious Cortland white with green speck Irish linen for the wrap, nice touch!!

Jerry -R- was able to locate a thick piece of mother of pearl to replicate the missing wedge. Martin aka JAZZNPOOL matched the forearm veneers exactly so this cue could play another day. Martin's custom dyed veneers look incredibly vibrant up close.

If you need veneers look up Martin at: http://www.westerncue.com/

If you ever need restoration work contact Jerry Rauenzahn at: http://webpages.charter.net/rauenzahncue/

I thank Martin and Jerry -R- for their efforts.

Thank you!!!

John
