Brunswick Rail Identification Help

A customer brought these in the shop and wanted us to do the rails.

What the heck kind of table is this? I haven't run across this old Brunswick style as of yet. The rail ends go right with the angle of the cushion. There are two inserted t nuts below under a leather flap to where I assume a pocket casting is bolted from the outside.

There is a stamp that just says Brunswick Regulation Billiard Table.

The rails are outfitted with Monarch Cushions.

Was this some kind of conversion to make it a pocket table?

I was out on a job and didn't get to talk to the owner about it when he picked the rails up.

It almost looks like a 3-Cushion Billiards table.
