I can't speak to the attributes of this particular table, which is probably from the bottom of the Brunswick line, but just about everything built in the 70's was a worthless piece of crap. It was the low point of American workmanship. People thought the Gremlin was a great car and built their houses with aluminum wiring that would later catch fire.
You need to kick the tires on it, but be careful, 1975 was not a good year for particleboard or fake wood.
