Brunswick Willie Hoppe Titlist one piece cue info?

I'm new around here. I hope I'm following all the rules correctly.

I'm attempting to gain info/valuation (and ideally sell) this single owner one piece cue, believed to be 1960s.

Approx. 57" end to end.
17 oz.
Wood inlay
No warping whatsoever.

Any and all info is welcome. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

We have already discussed this exact cue that you listed on ebay.

It is too light and too short to be of any real value. Ballpark is at $100, maybe a little more.

It is from the 1950s, but got broken and repaired at some point and is too skinny to use in a modern 2-piece cue.

I guess he didn't like the answer the first time, and will keep posting till he hears a "number" that he was actually looking for all along ;)
Oh, and it's a "single owner cue", first time I've heard that one. Well, at least he didn't say it was only played with on Sundays :)

Listen you guys...give Alan a break. He's a newbie about cues, and is representing this cue for somebody else. Like I said in the other thread, he contacted me with pictures of the cue, asking about a value. I didn't realize it was a short 1-piece cue (couldn't tell from the pics), and directed him to come here for better information. I'm the one who suggested it might might be worth $3-400, as that's a common value for those older Brunswick 2-piece Hoppe cues. I think Idealogist is probably right, but don't bash the guy because he's just trying to help somebody else. At least we got a new AzB member. :D

Thanks for sticking up for me, Scott!

Biggest newbie error I made was simple math. The length is 57", no 47".

Let the arrows fly!

Does that change the $100-ish value mentioned?

Thanks.

If you want to sell it, give me a jingle....

If the cue has been broken, Please let me know how bad.

The length of the cue is a "no-brainer"

Thanks.
57 inches certainly changes the value...
..I would suggest to go back to your original post and use the 'edit' function.

put it in the for sale section with decent pictures and the right description and ask 350 for it.

lousy pictures and the wrong info and you are helping someone or asking for help. come on.

These are selling for 200 on ebay in 57" length.

Still too skinny for a conversion, so that hurts the value.

You claim it is perfectly straight, but I would need to see a clear video of it being rolled on a pool table before figuring it is worth more than $200

That's fine Scott, just busting his balls for starting a new thread about the exact same cue. No reason for that. And for God's sake, he should at least know how long the cue is, if he really wants to know the worth of it.
And there is a great way to learn the price, put it for sale in the "for sale" threads and see what offers you get. Pretty simple, really. But, man, get some good pics first !!!!
And I still enjoyed the "single" owner line, classic !!!

Cues weight makes it a poor conversion candidate. Also you lose a little length with these type of bumpers on later models. It is worth 200 delivered.
More exotic woods go higher.
If it were the last 1 piece Titlist on earth it might go 300.
