Here's a set of six layouts.

The purpose is to make the 1 ball and then get into the target zone.

Here's a great set of layouts.

If you think that you've got great cue ball control, try these on for size.

Also use these with buddies to see who is best "position artist".
(Side bets are NOT required - but do add fun to the challenge.)

Have fun - shoot straight!!
:)

TO MAKE THIS WORK FOR YOU:
1. Set up the donuts for all the shots.
2. Shoot three sets to get a feel for your Comfort Zones.
3. Based on results, add to your practice routine or mark as part of your "trustworthy" shots

Trustworthy shots? What are those? ;)

A shot is "trustworthy" when it is routine and easy.
You don't have to stop and figure out how to play it - since you have already gone through the learning curve.
