Huge dreams and projects require a solid foundation. BSCP is the organization that is accredited by POC and WPA -- according to its legal existence, they are subject to being seen as fly-by-night.

BSCP IS NOT REGISTERED IN THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION!

To undertake a $500,000.00 tournament with such flimsy legal documentation is admirably bold and underhandedly wise. In case of any kind of default, who will be answerable? A non-existent company? Under the law, they cannot even open a bank account under BSCP because the banks will require SEC papers.

These are not lies. Search the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission yourself.

1] Billiards and Snooker Congress of the Philippines (BSCP) is not registered in the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines. Although they have an explanation in their outdated website that they are working on it, the fact is that they are not a duly registered organization in the Philippines.

2]BSCP is wrongfully accredited as a National Sports Association under the Philippine Olympic Committee. This makes everything dubious and questionable as BSCP is a fictitious name.

3] BSCP is wrongfully accredited by APBU and WPA. This makes everything dubious and questionable as BSCP is a fictitious name.

4] Raya Sports and Events is not registered in the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines according to the SEC i-search website. If Raya Sports is a small-time single proprietorship, they should be in the Department of Trade and Industry website but they are nowhere to be found! And even if it is a registered single proprietorship, it is doubtful that the owner of this business can vouch for $500,000.00 to give away if anything happens to his sponsors.

After all, I stand corrected. There is no conflict of interest in Makabenta's being Chairman of BSCP and President of Raya Sports. ... only because BSCP is legally non-existent.

Governance, members and shareholders -- big hullabaloo are all ghost characters.

We do not need hullabaloo BSCP statements that you make. We need explanations about your existence. We know that you can do it... give it a shot... maybe we will believe you.

So they just flat-out LIED in their last post here on AZ where they stated that they ARE on the securities exchange!!!!!!! Did they think that we are stupid? Like we wouldn't actually check on if everything they stated was really true?? Guess what guys....someone did!!!!:grin:

Hmmmmmm, not really a suprise that their so-called "BSCP statement" had lies in it....I wonder how many OTHER things in their statement were lied about????:confused:

i said before and i'll said it again,,yen and cohorts are not capable of telling at least mostly truth ,,,very corrupt and decptive people..

also..up to this time they have not announce who their sponsors are for the world 10 ball...and the required by the law "escrow money for the prizes" are nowhere to be found...

it's not a surprise...if i am a sponsor,,i will not commit either knowing most ppro players will boycott it...

Here's something that I posted in another thread. It doesn't matter if BSCP is fly by night or not because RAYA is the one producing the World 10-Ball and BSCP is just their tool and smokescreen. Below is what the reality here is now.

Here's an answer to your question directly from where its happening Jam. I personally don't know where the funding for the W10BC is coming from.

Producing a pool event is just like producing a movie. It needs the stars to draw the viewers and without the hope for a high number of viewership then what return (exposure-wise) can the funding sponsors expect? RAYA cannot anymore flaunt nor guarantee to possible sponsors that the top Filipino Pool Players will play in their events specially after we issued an Advisory about the need for a "letter of intent to participate" from BMPAP players as a guarantee for corporate sponsors that these players will participate in a proposed event. If RAYA needs top-ranked Filipino Poolplayers then they need to get a written agreement/permission from the BMPAP because these players are BMPAP Talents. Movie Producers approach Talent Agencies that manages the Actors/Actresses that they need for their production. Pool Event production is the same as how it works in movie production Mr. RAYA!

RAYA is a pool event promoter or equivalent to a movie producer. Normally, talents beg this big producers to include them in their production. Basically, the talents are at these producers mercy. Well, it's a different situation now. The players (talents) are a part of the producer/promoter outfit, BMPAP. They, the players are now producers/talent managers too.

Edit: An example to the above is Alcano who now handles players from his hometown of Laguna and even finances Dondon Razalan's participation in tournaments here and abroad.

I see RAYA press releases about foreign players coming but still no announcement of who their sponsors are. This is truly odd as part of the media values in exchange for sponsorship is the sponsor's name being mentioned in press releases.
Secondly, there still isn't any statement from the Games and Amusement Board that Prize Money has been placed in Escrow and that is a GAB Event Permit REQUIREMENT. So how then can any player here have the urge to join such event? We're so fed up with these post-dated checks.

So, who are the sponsors for the World 10-Ball Championship?
 
The bullying strategy doesn't work now and they have to get that through their thick skulls. They can't get players to join them by bad mouthing the players org, the players and the managers with their text messages. They cannot get the players to submit to them with their authoritative sounding press releases and threats. Don't they realize that Pinoys now hate dictators? Why cut down Efren? Don't they know that he's the Vice-President of the BMPAP? Or Dennis, LeeVan, Alex, Djanggo who are all directors of BMPAP.

What they need to do is to approach this like how one approaches a business venture. But ....... after all that they've already done...... they can just keep on with their harrassing us.:p
 
What a deluge of text messages telling players to move to the BSCP. Asking players why they let Perry Mariano make the decision for them. Answer is simple...Perry pays their salary and its not a loan like BSCP/PBDF's.

Which one is it really? BSCP? PBDF? RAYA? My oh my what a tangled web they weave.

forget about bscp approaching matters in a business like manner,,it's too late now..we know their true colors,,,they should be run-out of the phil. pool scene,,,

if ever they change for the better-it's just to get what they want and that's like same vultures dancing on different music...i hope er and co. makes no concession to this freak
