BUCKTOOTH at JOINTED CUE

I backed Jack Hynes giving Bucktooth the 6,7,8 playing 500 a game we won 8k in around 1995. Bucktooth only plays onepocker now.

bummer, never even played 1 pocket prop so doubt any spot would help :(

Sounds like a crazy guy though

Tooth is in black and white, Eddie is light green and Roy is the olive green.
Let's see if I got it right, "Rubberneck" is on the right side of the picture,
"Titantic Jerry" is the heavy set guy in the green shirt, the "MIGHTY TOOTH" is in the black & white shirt looking for a match and the Top Gun Actor is on the left, is that right?

Who's the best player, Rubberneck or BUCKTOOTH?

Deadon, thanks for these pics. I miss that pool room, too, having cut my pool teeth there. Great people, I miss 'em all. And what I wouldn't give for a Jointed Cue burger! :D

Blessings,
Loretta

That's Ted Ito with cue in hand in the green Hawaiian style shirt. 80 years young and still running out.

Master Ito still looks GREAT, man that made my day, i feel like moving to Sac again just to play there everyday, I havent been in there in 7 years and it looks the same, its hands down the best poolroom ever, sure there is more action elsewhere etc, but overall the Joint is the best, i had 2 tee shirts "play pool fool" and cant find them :(

The Jointed Cue is quite a place, you can almost feel the talent that has walked through those
doors. Legends upon legends, the hours and years of practice, years of talent and they are posted
all over the walls. We need more rooms like the Jointed Cue in Sacramento!

Came across these photos at Eddie Clark's memorial yesterday. Both classics of him and the Jointed Cue. Expecially the wide-panoramic one of him playing scotch-doubles with Ted Ito on table 10.

dusty

Roy.

tooth is the oldest guy in the pic, God I miss that pool room, my favorite room ever I like it 10X more than any other room, Roy is an amazing person.
In 98 or 99 I was playing on the front table at Shoreline Billiards in Mtn. View and there was a guy standing on the bench outside watching me play. I was just banging balls around and happened to break and run 3 racks and I say to myself "this guy must think I'm a pro or something" then he walks in and asks if I want to play some. My heart shrivelled up to the size of a hummingbirds and happily said "no thank you". Later I see the same guy in Reno and find out it is Roy F. He remembered me and has been cool everytime I've seen him.

looks like a nice place, i gotta make my way out there one weekend

You've never been there? That's a great room, make sure you get one of their burgers when you go. It's a real classic pool hall, been around forever.
