Buddy Hall's recovery?

While up at the U.S. Open One Pocket championship in Louisville, I heard from a good source that Buddy Hall had been signed up to play, but that a week prior to the event one of his lungs collapsed; so he was rushed to the hospital. Evidently he had been released after 4 days, but I've heard no report as to his recovery. Does anyone have reliable information? I think the entire pool world sincerely wishes that Buddy would get the right kind of help to regain and maintain his health and weight.

I believe Buddy now lives in the Metropolis, IL area. And if you're referring to the redoubtable Tampa Tubby-Bob, he may be portly, but he's still able to belly-up to the hold'em table and evoke fear and awe from the other degenerate gamblers. There are also rumors that he's planning a renewed frontal assault at the Gabriels.
