Budy Halll model Meucci

anyone know what a Buddy Hall model Meucci is worth ?

specs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,brass pin, old round style bumper, four points without veneers,four windows in butt, two shafts

the cue has been refinished with a real linen wrap,,,,,,,,,,uncoated. when the cue was refinished the joint collars on the shafts were redone, however they have cracked,,,,,,,,,,,in storage.

the cue has also been signed by Mr. Hall between the points and sprayed over

this cue MAY be for sale, however Im trying to get an idea of what its worth right now

Meucci did make a line of cues with Buddy Hall's name engraved on the butt, similar to the Jimmy Rempe, Loree Jon Jones, and Mike Sigel. I think there were a couple of others out there. Of these models, the Rempes are the most frequently encountered. I would like to see pics of your cue. From what I know, Buddy didn't personally sign the cues that went out in that line. His name was simply engraved on the butt. If it is signed under the finish, you may have a pretty collectible cue if it is good condition. They were made during the early days of Meucci, possibly in the 70s and 80s. For price speculation, I would consider posting it for sale on eBay with a ridiculously high reserve and see what it bids up to during an auction!

I had one and sold it to Scot at Proficient Billiards

I had one that I got from Louisville, and sent it to Scot to get refinished. I had (2) shafts and it had the brass pin, ect. I kept it for a number of years and I eventually sold it to Scot.

Im sure pictures of it are still on his web site. I will not disclose the amount paid but it was under $500.

I have only seen one other and it was on ebay about a year ago. I think the guy was asking a fortune (over $500) for it and not sure if it sold or not.

I have been in the cue game about 12 years and I have only seen two total. I did show it to Bob Meucci, and got little to no reaction from him.

They are neat and there isnt alot of them around, but it still doesnt mean that they are worth alot either.

the reason I know Buddy signed the cue is that he did it in front of me in Tallahassee where I met him at a tournament,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Rick Howard was doing repair work and sprayed over it for me
