I just did a repair for a buddy and his cue was really nice. I don't have pics as I gave it back to the guy already, but he called today to ask me if I could find out about it. It was a fullsplice with no wrap, looked like mahogany in the front with E.I. rosewood for the butt. There were initials on the butt cap, in gold lettering, 'K' over a 'C'. Black butt cap. The joint pin was a brass 3/8x11 by the looks of it. The ring work was maple rings with maple slots with black rings on the outsides. It is a very well made cue.
Any ideas are welcome. I will try to get a picture when I see him this week.
Thanks,
Dave

Not sure about K OVER C but a K next to a C would be KC Custom cues. I believe they are imports and are all over ebay. Like this one pictured below. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply and to the ones that pm'ed me. One other description is that there was a phenolic insert in the shaft, if that helps. I should be seeing him tomorrow nite, so I'll try to snap a couple of pics.

I stand corrected, it was KC not K over a C. I need new glasses....
Here are a couple pics, crappy cell phone pics I must say. I am impressed that it has a phenolic insert in the shaft. Maybe a after market addition. It shoots and feels very well for an import.
Thanks for the help everyone.
