Burl wood identification

Can anyone identify this burl wood, the wood came from a clock that was imported from Japan

Looks like spalted amboyna burl

If I were a guesser.........
Afzelia burl
But it is so hard at times to make the call from pictures alone.

There are a few good guesses in there. I'll add Camphor Burl to the list of possibilities.

I just got some Camphor burl, looks a lot like the wood in the picture.
