Burned on a cue

He....

Thanks for the warning Pauly.
It get's expensive to buy a new shaft and have the cue refinished.
Amazing that the cue was so badly misrepresented after all of that.
IMO the seller should either give you a full refund, or credit you at least $200 of the refinish and replacement shaft cost.

He got away with 912 of my hard earned money...the only solace is that the butt is solid and feels great, so at least in the end Ill have a good player!

Hope you're right. I just got burned for $310 for a cue. Never heard from this person after he got the money. No phone calls, no e-mails,no pms.and no cue.And he is a long time AZer with over 6,000 post.

Post a name and I'll bet we'll get it resolved for you.

Ripped

Maybe someone knows these jokers:

1. Sent money $220. to Mike Miller and Bob Williamson of Condado Dr. Oak Forest Chicago Ill. for a Scruggs SP and never got a thing or a reply. No Paypal refund.

2. A new angle: Sent a Phillipi Purple Heart SP to Dolald Islam of Sonora Ky with a delivery conformation from post office. Islam said nothing was in the well taped up tube. and Paypal refunded his money. No answer from him. $250. and cue gone. ( I grant that someone in PO could have stolen it. But why no reply? )

If anyone knows these crooks please PM me. Thanks

Rip off= singernak

JUST THOUGHT I WOULD ADD RIP OFF CLOWN CHRIS(SINGERNAK) FROM LAS VEGAS TO THE LIST OF PERSON TO BEWARE OF. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH AND AVOID SINGERNAK AT ALL COST LARGE OR SMALL:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

I don't know anything about previous business or any negative things about Singernak. I just want to add that I ordered a 9' table of cloth from him, sent him the money and had the merchandise at my front door in three days. Didn't have any problems with him.

Just want people to know that there are positive sides to every story.

ripped

His name is Dave Sutton. There's many others looking for him to settle on bad transactions.

Who's name is Dave Sutton? Does he go by other names?

Lets find these AHs and send the busted balls and bones squad after them and let them know why.

cog

I know the cue you are talking about, I owned that cue about 6 or 7 years ago. It was dead straight when I sold it to sean. Even the extra southwest shaft played super stiff, totally different then the 2 original shafts. I spent several years on the road and several roadies played with it and loved it. It wasnt the most beautifull cog though. The sw shaft should be worth $250 alone. You can ask MasonH who builds cues, he played with too, he post on here all the time. I traded sean that cue for a barrenbrugge that I sold to mason. I have not seen that cue for years and say it was damaged sounds a little bs to me. My name is Chip Ginther (425)891-6320.

Let's out the rats

Let's out the rats, if they are out there.

Multiple times I have sold cues internationally for thousands of dollars where I am paid up front by bank wire. Meaning that I could have easily just kept the cue and the cash, with no third party involved to enforce anything. I wouldn't do that to somebody for $10,000.

Always use an escrow service when somebody wants payment in advance or if the item is less than $1000 you can at lease use COD services.

I'd travel cross country to "speak" with anyone who did this sort of thing to me, just would not be able to let it be.

Pay Pal is not for me. I was selling a Black Boar and a couple other Hi-end cues and PayPal would insure only $2k of the transaction but required 3% of the entire final cost.

On ebay and other forums PP is always coming back to hold funds or challenge shipping addresses etc

You can have PayPal I choose not to do business with them
