I just bought this of Django. It's a one of a kind, especially made for him, being the winner of the 2003 Challenge of Champions.

It's ibory all over the cue!

I'm thinking of selling it....

Any opinions on design and price?

It wasn't made for him, right?
He plays with a Bear cue.
If he won it from the CoC tourney, it'll probably sell for msrp.
But, when he gets into the hall of fame someday ( which is a lock imo), it should go up in value.

Davy,

It is the "Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price". Probably have to contact Viking for the actual amount.

Koop

Right. Being from the Netherlands, I'm not aware of these abbreviations. Thanks!
However, I think it would be worth a bit more than the msrp.

No idea though how much it's worth. Anybody want a shot at it?

Not sure if I'm selling it though!

I figure a price of a good plain Viking cue plus $45 per ivory inlay, 100 dollars per ivory point in the buttsleeve, maybe $150 per ivory point in the forearm.

Well, I'm not too sure I get this. If you look at the pictures, could you give an estimate of the whole cue?

Thanks so far for all the info!

You can get MSRP for that cue at the right time right place. The fact that it came from Busta does not mean much since it seems he never did anything with it and got rid of it pretty quick. Get him to win a world championship with the thing if you want more then MSRP.

Looking at the cue I would guess it is worth $1500 give or take afew hundred.

That's a Viking P1 from the old Platinum series..MSRP was $3000 and sold for around $2400.

Metzger, how do you know this? Can you give me some details?

thanks!

Actually the old P1 had design in the points. This cue is almost exactly like the P1 except for it does not have the design in the points.

They are selling the P1 for $3000 retail. Your cue is a slight bit less fancy. I was probably abit low on the estimate on the price though, you might manage $2000 for the thing.
