hi all, a few months ago i posted a thread bout a tough shot wel at least for me, the cue ball and object ball frozen both on rail , alot of u sed low right or left depending wich side ure on anywho it took a long time for me to do it but after a while i was able to do it and now i always look out for things like that , so wen i saw bustas shot just like my thread i thought well he would make it but to my suprise he missed!! y? i ask?does he kno so much that he forgot what he learned?i imagine playing as a pro is more pressure packed maybe thats y , who knows...

The shot you are talking about is never an easy one. Maybe he was trying to juice the cue ball to get position as well which makes the shot even harder. Believe me, he knows how to make the shot; but just making it sometimes isn't enough.
 
Depending on the type of cloth and the speed, he may have just mis-judged the spin a little. Yes, even the pros make mistakes ever so often.

oh i kno its a tough shot and even the pros miss but it semed like he would make is all,he wasnt trying to juice it either and he hit the ball right as far as what i saw but to me he shot to fast i guess he thought it was easy , i myself have found missing straight in easy shots cuz i see it and just shoot it thinking its going to go in but then i miss and thats what happens wen u jump on shots i guess

Any player can miss any shot at any time for a myriad of reasons. There's no other way to explain it. A few years ago I was watching Johny Archer play in a tournament at Country Club USA in Chelmsford, Mass. and he missed with ball in hand on a very simple shot. It just happens.

I saw the shot, and it seemed that Busta may have underestimated the shot a little because of the fact that the eight was slightly off the rail, and maybe he figured that he was shooting just far enough away from the rail as to take it out of play. It seemed to me that the shot was struck much too firm for him to have been playing the slight swerve shot.

BTW, I thought about the original thread when I saw the shot!
 
How about Thorsten missing that easy gimme-shot on the 8ball to win his match against Wu Chia Ching in the World 8ball Championship (not IPT one). I heard he just got down and one stroked it. Man I felt so bad for him....and Wu went on to win the title.

allright viprofessoer!!!!!!! i guess u kno what i meant bout shot, i thought bout thread too!! then i felt like posting!!!
