Well tonight's the first night I've had to myself for sometime and i ended up being pretty bored so whilst scratching around looking for something to do i found a old cue of mine. A few years ago i used it as a break cue but after a few breaks the ferrull and tenon had snapped off so it just sat in the corner of the spare room.Well tonight i deiced that i should breath some new life into this old cue, lol.
Firstly i decided to cut the cue down as I've been interested to see if a shorter cue makes any difference on the break. The cue is now around 55". I then squares the end up and put on a pressed wb tip. When i shaped the i also put in a concaved section like the new x-breaker has, can't see it doing much but you never know. Finally a add the biggest weight bolt i could find, I'd guess the cue is around 20oz now.
I'm hoping that I might get chance to nip down to the pool hall tomorrow and give this bad-boy a test run, lol.
I hope the rest of you guys have had a more entertaining Friday night than me!
