What is considered a better butt design, aesthetics aside, full splice or no splice, and why?

Best butt design? I think that a nice apple-bottom style butt with a nice Irish linen thong wrap is preferable. And the more padding for the stroking the better.

not sure if you are joking or not.
Your question can only be replied to with opinions.
It is a matter of preferance.
Hit with each style & form your own opinion.
I prefer fullsplice because i like older style equipment.
Let me know if you can tell the difference between fullsplice & any other style.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the full splice came about for warp prevention.
