Butt Extension on a Mueller Hustler Cue

Hello. I need help!!!

I've bought a Mueller Hustler Cue, a sneaky pete. In fact, I've bought four in the past 10 years , because they are so good of a cue and I keep gifting them to people that I care a lot. https://www.muellers.com/Hustler-Professional-Bar-Cue---20-720,703.html?b=d*6004

The last iteration of this cue came with a bumper ready for an extension. I asked Mueller directly to see if they have this extension, but the only thing that they could tell me is that the bumper can handle an extension that has a 5/16x14 thread.

I went yesterday to my local pool hall and asked around to try and see if regular brand's extensions worked, and found out that neither the cuetec extensions or predator extensions or most chinese knockoff extensions do not fit it.

Do you know any brand of extension that I can buy that has that thread? Please help! Otherwise, I would have to buy a regular extension and bumper and pay someone to alter my cue, but that would only be my last resort.

I can feel you're pain / confusion on this , I'm surprised that they Mueller doesn't have in stock a variety of extensions for the pool cues they sell .

Another place to post this is the cue maker section .

Try to remove the bumper and see what threads it has or what system it uses and maybe you can get a set of bumper and extension to fit it.
I find it weird that the manufacturer of the cue doesn’t have the extension to match or at least a link to get one.
