Butt size?

I have a 3 year old McDermott, only paid $150 new, and only get to play Oct through mid March - golf lessons the rest of the year.
I have small hands and wonder if the butt sizes of all cues are the same. I think a smaller butt on my cue would make my grip more consistent. Maybe my thinking is wrong but that's where I am now.
Thanks for your input.
 
There is no standard. IIRC, jacoby is one of the production cues that is known for thinner handles.
