Buying a break cue, what’s the best non phenolic tip to choose from this list?

I’m looking for a break tip that isn’t phenolic, but if it feels and hits like a phenolic that’s fine. This is what I have to choose from:

Samsara
White Diamond
Bulletproof
Taom White/Yellow/Green
Tiger Dynamite
Tiger Break
Cyber Break White
Pechaur Gold Break
Kamui Black Hard
Kamui Clear Black Hard

I had a white diamond- liked it- I like a non layered harder tip like Triangle even more for breaking after much trial and error.

White Diamond would be my choice. I do want to try the Bulletproof tip/ferrule. Seems there are several lexan tips coming out.

have had the same white diamond tip on my bk2 for 12+ years and should easily go another dozen. Zero maintenance and breaks like king kong.

I'm a fan for life.

best,

It's not on the list, but I just had a Navigator Break tip put on my jump/break cue. It's described as phenolic leather. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but it is very hard and it holds chalk. I haven't tried jumping with it, but it's great for breaking and miles above the Samsara tip that was on the cue when I bought it.

It probably means resin infused learher.

I had a phenolic and swapped it out for a Bulletproof, I like the Bulletproof much, much better. I lost no break speed (at least according to my RADAR) yet the Bulletproof seems to grip the cue ball much better. I get more cue ball control with the Bulletproof compared to phenolic. I also have a Water Buffalo on another cue and it works but its just a "meh" kind of tip, nothing bad to say about it but even less good to say about it for breaking.

For me, the one at the top of your list - Samsara has the best feel / feedback of the ones I’ve tried, but to be clear, it does not feel or hit like a phenolic tip, so it may not be what you’re looking for.

You’ll never get anything close to a consensus on this - everyone has different preferences.

White Diamond, although Samsara had lots of recommendations I have not tried it.

It jumps great and is soft enough not to damage the cueball on the break. It has a bit of a unique feel when breaking, it compresses a bit like leather but does not feel like leather.

I use a bullet proof on my dedicated break cue that I love, but I really liked the Samsara when I used it on a previous j/b too…
