Ok guys, I have made up my mind to buy a Brunswick. I really want a new table - I have been looking for used ones for months, without much luck. The thing is, I keep reading posts that go something like:

I bought a gold crown IV. It cost me $6500

Damn, you got screwed. My dealer sells them for $35 bucks!

OR something similar.

I live in AZ, and there is only one authorized Brunswick dealer in the state, and they are NOT flexable in the pricing. Are there any secrets to getting a good deal on a NEW brunswick?

Any thoughts appreciated!

I bought my GC-4 in 2000 and paid $5,500. It has the piano finish which is suppose to add $1,000 at retail. I bought it in Pearl, Miss. a Jackson suburb. $6,500 sounds like a good price to me. Enclosed photo of mine.

I attended a Women's Tour event in Peoria, Il a couple of months ago. I had intended on opening a pool room, so I inquired about the tables being used at the tournament. The tournament director put me in touch with the Brunswick dealer, and he told me I could have those very tables for...get this, $2900 a piece!! Brand new Gold Crown IVs!! The kicker was that I had to come up with the money by the end of the tournament or the tables would be put on a truck and shipped back to the warehouse in Wisconsin.

So, I'd suggest, if you can wait, find the next nearest tour stop. Do they still have one in Prescott? Even after hiring someone to move it, it should still save you a bundle.

On another note, I sold my Gold Crown II for $1500 back in March before I left AZ.

Well guys, doesnt matter now. I just scored a Poly Black gold crown IV off of ebay for 2275$ I need to get in here from Long Beach, CA, but the U-Haul is only 300$, and a 60$ flight! 300 for new simonis and cushions, and I am syling for under 3k!

I am psyched!

Reno - I had heard about getting the tables from tournys. Actually called that casino in albaqurque nm where they had the tourny 2 weeks ago, but they had already sold out
