So I've been thinking of buying a Lucasi Hybrid Fusion LHSP Sneaky Pete Pool Cue but have not met anyone who owns one or who has even shot with one. Can anyone tell me if this is a good cue for a upper "A in BCA league" player. Thanks.

I have been very happy with my Lucasi cues, I also have a Schon and really
don't have a preference, JMO for what it's worth. I do prefer wrapless
the Schon and the LHF69 both are.

I have Lucasi LHF69 LHC97 and L2004

Schon CX81

last year at Valley Forge i bought a LHSP, after trying cues for hours at Lucasi, Predator, and OB. all are fine cues, but i decided after visiting each booth 2x on the LHSP.

a few months later, i gave in to the "all the pro's shoot with Predator" mentality, and bought a Predator QR2 with a 314-2. it was beautiful, but too light in the front end for me, and after 4 months of trying to get used to it, i sold it and went back to the Lucasi.

the LHSP is not as low-deflection as the 314-2; it's about halfway between a standard shaft and either the 314 or an OB-1, in my estimation. but i prefer the balance with a little more weight in the nose over the lower deflection.

i also thought at first that the rubber grip was goofy and that i might have trouble with it. now i can't imagine going back to a linen wrap or no wrap, the grip is so easy to work with. i spoke with Shaun Wilkie at this year's SBE about that, and he had the same set of reactions.

in the end, as they say, "it's the indian, not the arrow", but for me the Lucasi LHSP is the perfect cue.
