I get my billiards equipment based on peer recommendation (not always an AZ'r), the producers support of the sport, quality of the products, and service record of whomever I am getting the item from. Price plays very little part in my decision making.

I think, it really depends on what type of equipment you're talking about. If it's anything BUT a cue, my decision to buy it is completely based on my own personal judgement of the product. I don't look for things that other people already have. If I see something that i think is useful, I'll buy it.

I could have filled the poll with many options... I just wanted to see if pros or az had more pull when making a choice buying. Other would be every other option.
If i looked to the pros for my cue choices id be shooting with a cuetec. ughhh. I make all my own decisions. good or bad
