Buzzing Sound

Hi all, I posted a question in the main forum about a buzzing sound I get when I use top spin with light strokes. I shoot with a first gen 314 and recently had a Kamui black soft put on. At first I heard a sticking sound when I used english or top. I assumed it was the tip because I only used medium or hard tips before and that was a first time I ever had a soft tip. The sticking sound seems to have subsided but now I get a buzz that occurs when I use top spin on soft shots. Is it possible that the ferrule is cracked or perhaps the joint is loose? My cue is a P2 and it does not have a weight bolt in it. The buzzing sound does not seem to effect play but it worries me that it might get worse. Anyone have any idea what is causing this?

I had that happen on one of my original 314 shafts. The buzzing sound was caused by a broken tenon. I sent it back to Predator and they fixed it for no charge.

Could also be the tip was installed "bad"..... Dull cutting bits or too much heat can cause slight delamination of the glue between the layers....I suspect since it started happening after you got the new tip installed that's its the cause...

I have found with kamuitips you have to sharpen your tool bit before hand and use a brand new razor blade as well as not using sandpaper for too long to avoid building up heat...

I would bring it back to the person who installed it and try another tip....I have an account with kamuitips and I had a defective one and they swapped it out for me no prob

Hmmm....well I hope its not the tenon but thank you for all the responses. I really do appreciate it.
