The Seminole tournament at Ca Billiard Club has repeatedly been on this web site and one pocket.org. Now that they have a great tournament going and have used this site to increase interest, it should be their responsibility to keep updates on the tournament. They are down to the final eight. Who are they? When does the first match start? These and other questions go unanswered. You want free advertising and you want to reach pool players, you got both. Show some reciprocation and give us updates. Make it a two way street.

It's not my place to speak for Chris and his crew. That being said, I'll just state my observations...
I visited Cali over the days of both tournaments (fortunate enough to live near by) and I can honestly say that the entire staff was working non-stop just to keep things running. The place was, at best really busy, and at worst standing room only.
I can honestly say that between the attention to the spectators, the players, and the even the customers they were still servicing, I can't see how they could possibly have had any time to update the site... They didn't have time to even eat or go to the bathroom (not an exaggeration). Even at 2am it was hopping.
Full disclosure, I don't know much about the inner-workings of how tournaments are run, other than what I read here on AZ, but I would think that if tournament updates were to be posted, the responsibility could fall on the Seminole PT staff/tournament director's crew to get updates onto AZ, if they want to. So it's not solely on Cali. Is that off base?
Even if my thinking is right, aside from the Cali staff, the event staff were also pretty swamped during the time I was visiting ( and that was jsut the off hours). So I'm not sure the SPT/TD crew would have been able to post updates. But again, I don't want to speak for them, just my observation.
I agree, it would have been really nice to be able to come-on AZ and view the tournament status, whoever posts it, and maybe it's something they can keep in mind for the next go around
Heck, if I didn't sleep half the weekend I would have been glad to post status and results
