CA Billiards 2k Added One Pocket

This weekend at California Billiards in Fremont, CA. Gold Crowns have just been covered and new rails added with reduced pocket size. They are supposed to play more like Diamond tables. $300 added nine ball on Friday night.

I finally win a tournament down there and they change the tables.:banghead:

It's a conspiracy against us old guys.

They should be OK with the new cloth, but the idea is to make them bank like Diamond Tables.

They have two new Diamond tables in the eight table tournament area so these now have Diamond rails after Ernesto recovered them. They still have the short Gold Crown shelf compared to a Diamond, so the only difference I would think is they would bank shorter like the Diamonds.

I will be there this weekend to check them out.

Turns out I got some bad info on the pocket size. They are still 4 1/4 and the tables are playing very fast.
