Call shot slop?

The other night, casual play, a question arose. Twice I made my called shot, but another of my balls also fell in the same shot. We were playing 8 ball. So, is this illegal slop, or just luck of the game since the called ball did drop? Should I have called both balls and both pockets? I was kind of hoping it would work out that way in both cases...

Where I play, as long as your called shot goes in, all other balls, yours or your opponents, count. Of course, local 8-ball rules may vary and change at a moment's notice.

Under BCA and World Standard Rules, this is correct.

Call one ball, one pocket, get a legal hit, make your called ball in the proper pocket and anything else that goes in, yours or your opponents', stays in and you keep shooting.

Yeah most definatly counts, I've never played with someone that thought otherwise. When I read the title I was hoping you were gonna be talking about a shot where you call a ball in a pocket and miss by so far it comes around the table and goes in that pocket, I've done it a couple times and it's always funny, I even remember seeing it done on accident during speed pool on ESPN.
