Scott,
You are correct graduates are eligible. Below are the major requirements for eligibility for all students, including graduate students, for the Sectional and Independent Qualifiers. There is another eligibility set for Nationals, which is confirmed by the university's Registrar's Office..
Eligibility
Recognizing that the primary purpose of student life on campus is academic achievement, to further underscore the importance of continuing academic progress, students participating in ACUI tournaments must be enrolled as a student in good standing at the institution they represent. To that end, ACUI hereby establishes the following requirements for sectional or independent qualifying events:
For participation in sectional and independent qualifying tournaments, this certification of eligibility form must be verified and signed by an advisor or authorized staff member of the school.
All participants must meet eligibility criteria established by their school.
All participants are limited to 6 years of eligibility. Students enrolled at 2-year institutions are limited to 3 years of eligibility; if they transfer to a 4-year school, 6 years total.
All undergraduate participants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 as of the academic term in which they qualified for program; for graduate students, 3.0 cumulative GPA.
All participants must be enrolled as of the academic term in which they qualified for the program for at least 9 credit hours (6 credits for graduate students) and must complete 6 credit hours between all program appearances.
All undergraduate and graduate student participants must be enrolled as a student in good conduct standing at the institution he or she represents, as determined by the institution in which he or she is currently enrolled.
If a player is graduating during the term of an ACUI event and is enrolled for less than the minimum hours required for eligibility, then a letter from the registrar stating that the player will be graduating the same term of the event should be submitted along with the other registration materials.

As long as you have not qualified all four years of undergraduate study, graduates are eligible. Pretty sure the limit is 4 times per student. That's what it was 20 years ago...it may have changed since then.
