Can A Predator Be Turned Down?

i just ordered a Predator Shaft, as i am sure most are aware. i got the 12.75 mm shaft, but it seems more like 13 mm, and would like to get it turned down just a little.

can a predator be turned down?
and is there anything different about turning down a Predator? something that might affect the way it plays? or does Predator make 12.5 mm shafts? or do they make them all 12.75 and you have to get someone to turn them down if you want it less?

The shafts come from the factory at 12.75. The shaft can be turned down to 12.25 without voiding your warranty, any smaller than that and you will void your warranty. I wouldn't recommend going below 12.50 because over time your shaft will naturaly wear down from cleaning and playing. Any smaller than 12.25 and the wall becomes dangerously thin ,as the shaft is hollow in last five inches. Another question would be how you are going to turn it down? As there could be problems due to the method. By the way, stil got the mp3 player for sale?
 
well i would probably send it to Muellers and have their cue repairman turn it down for me. also going to have the Pechauer shaft turned down. both need about 1/4 mm shaved off to feel good.

I apoligise, I went back and looked at the old message and it wasn't from you. Someone had contacted me about a mp3 player they had for sale. Muellers will do a great job with your shaft I'me sure, they are a great bunch of people.

When it arrives, it should come with a piece of paper that describes the warranty that also tells you how much it can be turned down without voiding the warranty.
