this is a very very exciting season on the wpba. helena thorndfeldt is #3 and wants to at least stay at that prestigious #3 spot. allison fisher is #1, and of course would feel embarressed, if she went down from there. karen corr is a fantastic strong player is way up there at #2, will she fall or rise to #1?. jeanette lee re-dedicated herself to winning, instead of promoting pool, and she looks to go from #4, to #1 by years end. kelly fisher the snooker sensation from the u.k. just arrived here, and is getting used to 9-ball. i look for her to do very well, like #1 well, by may of 2005. so who will be #1 in the world, by october of 2004 and into december of 2004, and who will be player of the year?----------- kim shaw, the snooker transplant. she is deadly and ready, already ranked #8, she will climb and climb this year knocking off karen corr at the #2 spot, and eventually, beating allison fisher at her own game. by april of 2005, all we will be hearing is "welcome to the finals, mitch lawrence and dawn hopkins calling the action for you, and i can't say it enough, these two players have been in the last 34 finals together, kelly fisher the #1 player in the world, and kim shaw, the #2 player in the world, who was #1 for a while, also, kim shaw is player of the year, for 2004." "yes, mitch but looking at kelly fisher, i believe she is going to be #1 for many, many years, she is so solid at the table, just like allison fisher and karen corr, back in the early 2000's, it's now, kelly fisher and kim shaw in all of the finals."
