>>Can Any Cue-Makers Out There Make a Pie-Spliced Butt (like a Predator P2) <<

Hey guys, just wondering if any cuemakers on here would be capable (and willing) to make a spliced butt cue similar to that of a Predator P2. I would like to use alternating ebony or rosewood with purpleheart. I'm looking for a plain SS 5/16x14 joint and a short white buttcap. No joint collar and uncored. Something similar to the photo below. Thanks guys :)

If you are willing to spend several hundred on the butt, I think most of us could do it. That ebony/purple heart combo not cored will be really heavy.

I can do it and do all the time in 6-pie. Ebony and Ph is not a problem. Have a 6-pie Ebony that comes in just under 19oz. Doing a Ebo/PH cue now that will come in right at 19oz, with a matching jump butt and joint protectors for both. Only limiting factor right now is whether I have any more 29"+ Ebo boards since you don't want a wrap.

I don't mind it being on the heavier side, it works well with the weight since I like to keep the butt a little thinner than an average butt

I don't know about that one lol. The general idea is simple, but making a good playing cue out of it I'd assume takes some know-how..

Since Bob does it all the time, he would probably be your best bet as far as price for a quality product goes.

I pm'd him to see some of his work. I'd prefer an 8-pie splice but I'm sure his work is super solid since he's been doing it for quite awhile..I'm really looking forward to seeing it. If anyone can do an 8-pie I'd love to know
