Sanctioned Player Members (non-league) may enter Open, Masters or Juniors singles divisions. Sanctioned Player Members may not compete in “Standard Singles” divisions, Scotch Doubles What is the differance between the Standard Mens singles and the Open Mens singles? Also what does it mean Sanctioned players may Not compete in Standard Singles? Thanks for your help, TODD

What it means

The second set of numbers means if you enter late, the late fee is additional. This must be some form of electronic entry form the ACS is using. While I cannot be absolutely certain,it may mean that a league member division is separate from a $25.00 player member division. It would be best to go to the ACS Website to see about a full explanation of divisions.

Sorry, I should have been more Specific with my Question? At the Bottom of the Entry form it reads..Sanctioned Player Members (non-league) may enter Open, Masters or Juniors singles divisions. Sanctioned Player Members may not compete in “Standard Singles” divisions What is the differance between the Standard Mens singles and the Open Mens singles? There are 3 division levels in ACS. Standard (or novice), Open, and Masters. If you are only a player member,(which means you didnt get 8 weeks of reg. session league play in) you can only play in open or masters if you pay your ACS membership and just go down and only play singles.
And I also believe if you are only a player member, you can not play in scotch or team events, only singles.
In other words, if you are planning on going down to ACS Nationals and planning on playing in the standard division(if approved by the LO) you must have 8 weeks played in a regular weekly league session.
Hope I answered you questions.
Good Luck in Vegas!!!!!:)
